Download an Intensive Institute brochure and register today! Relational-Cultural Theory promises change through healing connections that break down the barriers of objectification, whether in therapy or in the world. What challenges do we face in bringing about increased individual wellbeing and in creating contexts that support our capacity for growth? In this Institute, we will highlight practices to reduce the fears that keep us from living our full human potential, including the cultural biases that interfere with mutuality and social change. Using what Jean Baker Miller called "vasts acts of exposure," we will work together to notice and name the personal and socio-political strategies of disconnection that threaten to divide us from each other and separate us from renewed vision of human possibility. This kind of transformation happens "in the now," one interaction at a time, and there are skills we can practice to bring this about. Join us in this interactive experience. 15 CEUs awarded (NASW, APA, LMHC, LMFT approved)
